Mediamano is a Spanish company founded in 2008 with headquarters in Madrid. We are fully committed to technological innovation and guide our activities toward the analysis, development and deployment of IT systems, applications and services that allow companies to optimize processes and coordinate their multimedia content.

Mediamano provides highly flexible, module based workflow solutions to the broadcast and professional video sectors. Based in Madrid, Spain, the company provides Ingest, Production, Archive and Publishing solutions to Tier 1 customers in Europe, the Americas and AsiaPac.

MikeBeattie

Mike is a technology and media entrepreneur with over 20 years experience in the mobile and broadcast sector.
Founder and CEO of Sepomo, a mobile payments company, and Co-Founder and CEO of Mediamano, a broadcast media software company, based in Madrid and operating in Europe, North America and AsiaPac.
During his professional career, Mike has specialised in Total Quality Management, system integration, workflow management and international business development.
He has a BSC in engineering and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

Javierde la Rosa

Javier has been working in the technology sector for over 10 years. He is currently Mediamano’s product manager and marketing officer.
He has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from EAE Business School in Madrid and has specialised in Project Management, online marketing and business development.

JuanBeliz

Juan is Mediamano’s CTO and head of the R+D department. He has been working in the broadcast space for over 8 years, collaborating with Tier 1 broadcasters in Spain, France, Mexico, Brazil and Australia.
He has a BSC in Computing from the Politécnica University in Madrid and has specialised in project management, analysis and data bases.

Sky News Australia use Mediamano to publish their stories to different clients. The stories are populated automatically from ENPS, and when the media details are added to the story, Mediamano automatically extracts the media from the Video server and makes it available via a proxy for thumbnailing. When the story needs to be published to a client, a pop up window lists all available channels, which are dragged and dropped to the publish panel, then actioned.

Videoblocks use Mediamano to tag and publish their stock footage. Clips are uploaded to an FTP site, where Zocolo folders determine which worklfow to apply. Clips are presented via a web based Inbox, and editors tag and add metadata before publishing to their CDN. The tecnology is 100% cloud based.

ESPN Brasil use Mediamano to control a significant number of production workflows. They publish clips to the web directly from their edit seats, and they also archive to DIVA directly from their edit seats. Ingest is also controlled using PowerPlus software, both for ad-hoc file based material and for web download.

A significant international news company based out of the US also uses Mediamano to manage file based ingest. Our deep integration with their asset management system also allows them to ingest their affiliate feeds directly, automatically converting metadata and removing the need for staff to intervene, saving time and resources, and significantly reducing errors.
